A glycerin extract of pomegranate pulp, giving good polyphenol protection as well as a good humectant to keep the skin supple.
A pale amber coloured liquid made by using glycerin as a means of extracting the active components from pomegranate pulp.
Pomegranate seeds that are extracted into glycerin by a proprietary process. It is sterilised by filtration so no preservative is necessary to keep the extract in its pure form.
Pomegranate contains ellagic acid which, together with other polyphenols, help to regulate cell turnover and give the cell time to divide normally and form completely.

How to use it:
Skin Care
Pomegranate Glycerol Extract is a good replacement for glycerin in skin products as it has the humectant effect needed but also a strong polyphenol action.
Add to after shave products like skin soothers and moisturisers as it strengthen the cell membranes and keeps moisture in the skin.
It can be used as a moisturiser in antioxidant creams and lotions.
It also has an anti inflammatory effect.
Ellagic acid is also thought to strengthen the cell membrane, making it less susceptible to free radical damage and preventing water loss from the cell. This is ideal in night creams and anti aging serums.
Combine with hydrolates to make facial toners and spritzes for targeting specific areas or for general moisturisation. Especially effective after sunburn.

Recommended for oily hair that has a tendency to have dandruff.

Water soluble so cannot be used in oil only products.
Once opened do not leave the cap off the bottle whilst you are working and after use, squeeze some of the air out of the bottle to reduce potential oxidation and seal tightly. Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from freezing and direct sunlight.

Method:
Mix the EmulsiGel Eco with the Pomegranate Glycerol Extract and then add to the hot water. Stick blend until thickened.
Add the combined stage 2 ingredients to stage 1 and stick blend briefly to combine.
Cool down in a pan of cold water whilst stirring with a spatula.
Add stage 3 ingredients and stir again. Jar and label.
Mix the EmulsiGel Eco with the Pomegranate Glycerol Extract and then add to the hot water. Stick blend until thickened.
Add the combined stage 2 ingredients to stage 1 and stick blend briefly to combine.

Method:
Dust the Konjac powder over the combined floral waters and beat until thickened. It will thicken up a little more when left to stand.
Mix the stage 2 ingredients together and stir thoroughly into the gel. Jar and label.
