USES

This zinc cream is perfect for diaper rashes, but it can also be used on any and all skin irritations to include bug bites, scratches/cuts, and any type of rash. Use clean, dry hands to remove/use this cream and apply as much as needed to clean, dry skin. If using for diaper rash, apply liberally to clean, dry skin with each diaper change in order to protect and soothe the skin.
(*While we have seen no issues with cloth diapers, we recommend using caution and following the diaper manufacturers directions regarding using any balms/creams/salves.)
QUALITY INGREDIENTS

Infused Baby Balm Oil (Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil infused with the organic herbs of: Calendula, Chamomile, Helichrysum, Comfrey Leaf, Comfrey Root, and Chickweed), Organic Coconut Oil, Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Cocoa Butter, All Natural Candelilla and Myrica Fruit Waxes, and Organic extracts of Calendula and German Chamomile.
Zinc can lower skin inflammation from rashes or irritations, improve wound healing, prevent bacterial infections, aid in the recovery of burned or damaged skin, as well as acting as a barrier that keeps moisture locked into the skin. While nano-sized particles allow zinc to be applied with no white residue, there are questions about the safety of this tiny particle size. We know that you want the absolute best for your little one and would never want to take a risk. Therefore, we use zinc that is non-nano. The particle size is so high that none of the particles have a chance of falling into the “nano” size.
Calendula, Chamomile, and Helichrysum are three of the flowers in our herbal infusion. Calendula is used topically for wounds and skin trauma. Chamomile is a soothing herb known to calm irritated skin. Helichrysum is known to reduce scarring and sooth the skin. Plantain not only reals cuts and bruises, but it eases the itch of any insect bite or sting. Comfrey is one of the most powerful skin healing herbs known. It has been used for centuries safely on external wounds. The herb is high in allantoin which has been shown to speed up the growth of new, healthy tissue. Chickweed cools and soothes wounds and rashes. Minor burns, eczema, psoriasis are even soothed by this herb. Chickweed is also known to calm itchy skin.
