Increasingly part of the popular culture, chai has been blended for centuries in Southern Asia, with each family recipe subtly unique. Our chai is made with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, allspice, cloves, and black pepper; the spicy blend is then coupled with a hearty black tea to fill out this invigorating beverage. Usually served with cream and sugar, chai is amazing both hot and iced, perfect for summer and winter treats!
Tea brewing instructions - Start with cold, fresh water.
Preheat teapot. Cooling of the water results in weak brew.
Use approximately 3 grams of tealeaves for 6oz water.
Use 1/2 oz. tea leaves per quart. For Tea, steep 4 minutes.
Brew Herbal Teas (TISANES) as black teas, with water to rolling boil.
Pour OVER Tea or Herbal. DO NOT BOIL botanicals when making tea.
Use discretion and taste to produce a brew-strength equal to 3 grams of tea per 6 ounces of water.
