Duoflexin® has two types of fish collagen - type I collagen Collyss ™ naturally present in tendons and bones and CARTIDYSS ™ collagen complex, containing type II collagen - naturally present in articular cartilage, as well as natural chondroitin and glucosamine, strengthened with an additional portion low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with high bioavailability and proteins from snail mucus. In addition, the composition was enriched with synergistic ingredients:
Natural vitamin C from acerola - helps in the proper synthesis of collagen to ensure the proper functioning of cartilage and bone
Indian frankincense (Boswellia serrata), Devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) and ginger (Zingiber officinale) extracts - help maintain healthy joints and maintain their flexibility and mobility

Why is fish collagen better?
Most of the products on the the brandet contain chicken collagen, which is obtained from chicken cartilage. The great popularity of poultry collagen is due to the fact that the raw material for its production is a waste of the poultry processing industry, which in turn translates into a low price of collagen. Unfortunately, the modern poultry industry uses significant amounts of chemical additives to feed that increase the efficiency of poultry farming - such as antibiotics and steroids - which may affect the quality and purity of collagen obtained from this source.
